Auto-Signing—an Unforced Deep State Error

COMMON SENSE: With the use of an autopen, former President Biden’s staff, probably without his knowledge, signed pardons for numerous January 6th Committee members, including Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney. In a stunning development, President Trump posted on Truth Social that these pardons are “void, vacant and of no further force or effect.”

But what does this mean?

It means the Trump administration intends to negate these pardons and prosecute Schiff, Cheney and the others for what they have done. By rejecting the legitimacy of these pardons, based on them being auto-signed, a court challenge by the Democrats is certain. Being a significant Constitutional issue, this is certain to reach the Supreme Court.

It’s no secret that the Trump administration is thrilled to have discovered this transgression, but I would like to challenge them about the breadth of their discovery. My concern is that they might be myopic about this. Yes, Trump wants justice where the J-6 Committee is concerned, but the auto-signing scandal may go much, much deeper.

Due to Biden’s cognitive decline, his Presidency ran on autopilot, with Deep-State bureaucrats acting as the President. This means career bureaucrats may have been “forging” Biden’s signature routinely to further their agendas. This being the case, I believe an investigation by the FBI needs to be launched to determine the complete extent of the auto-signing scandal.

For instance, if Biden’s judicial appointments were auto-signed, I believe a case can be made to negate every one of them. This would allow President Trump to replace hundreds of Woke activists in the judiciary, revoking their lifetime appointments. An investigation by the Treasury Department would also be warranted. If funds were diverted, based on an auto-signature by Biden, this would constitute fraud. Money would be recoverable, with those who received it would face jail time.

The point is this: In their arrogance, those pulling Biden’s strings were sloppy about how they did it. They thought they could do whatever they pleased with impunity, but they were wrong. The auto-signing scandal may provide Trump with a way to undo nearly every disastrous thing the Biden administration did to take America down a notch or two.

So, Mr. President, broaden this investigation. By doing so, you may have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Making America great again may have just become quite a bit easier.

By the way, this may be why Trump signs his Executive Orders publicly. It means we have visible proof that he is the one who is actually signing each order. That’s a smart move, Mr. President—kudos.
