BUSH 43’S FUNERAL Will Unite Conservatives and RINOs

by Jack Watts

COMMON SENSE: President Trump has been invited to attend the funeral of former President George H.W. Bush, but he was not invited to attend the funeral of the former First Lady, Barbara Bush.

What’s the difference? What has changed? In my opinion, a lot. This is a perfect example of the Law of Unintended Consequences. Let me explain what has happened in a few short months.

During the Kavanaugh hearings, when he was so viciously and wrongfully attacked, not only did President Trump stick with his nominee, but former President George W. Bush stuck with him as well. In fact, Bush 43 lobbied for Kavanaugh.

Trump, who demands loyalty, also gives it. To his credit, he supported Kavanaugh unwaveringly, when other Presidents probably would have withdrawn their nomination. The Bush’s recognized this and respected Trump for being stedfast, but they weren’t the only ones. Both Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, who have been maligned for being being RINOs, were instrumental in ratifying Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Not to be left out, Susan Collins, perhaps the greatest RINO of them all, provided a powerful validation speech for Kavanaugh that will be remembered for years.

When Dianne Feinstein and other Democrats tried to derail the Kavanaugh nomination, in their wildest dreams, they never anticipated that their malice and slander would unite Conservative Republicans with RINOs, but this is exactly what happened, as verified by the invitation for both the President and the First Lady to attend George H.W. Bush’s funeral. Like so many other things, the Evil intent of the Democrats has backfired on them.
