Democrats…Take Your Party Back!

My fellow American citizens, those who politically call themselves Democrats, would y’all please take your party back? Please receive this article as a sincere and supportive invitation, as a desperate plea, or a warning of consequence. We miss you and be honest you miss us as well. We used to have so much fun and govern so effectively when we both held to the belief that the citizens of our nation simply require that we show regard for their fundamental liberties and acknowledge their right to the truth and see integrity in those that represent us.
We have hope! I write WE because WE are in this together. Now is not the time for focusing on blame but recognizing the mistakes that were made and doing better. Did you fail to exercise vigilance over your party? Well so did we as Republicans. While Republican voters allowed RINOs to gain some influence in our party, y’all allowed the Socialist to hijack yours. Socialists are writing checks the American people are not willing to cash. Political liabilities are costing your party deeply. Blue state Governors and mayors are hurting your party on a national level.
Their own propaganda media attempts to proclaim that Socialism is what America wants. In fact, they claim that 40% of Americans want what China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, and North Korea have. But by their same polling they report that only 66% of Democrats are in favor of it. I looked at so many diverse sources to make sense of their math.
300,000,000 million people,
X
40% of Americans reported to support Socialism,
=
120,000,000 million people.
Then they report.
300,000,000 million people,
X
45% estimated number of Democrat voters,
=
135,000,000 million people,
X
66% of Democrats that support Socialism,
=
89,1000,000.
89.1 million is off from 120 million. It wasn’t until I factored in the estimated number of illegal aliens living in this country did the math start mathing.
Disclaimer: These are estimates and care should be taken as some sources are considered bias and untrustworthy.
I was convinced that last fall during the budget battle, that Obamacare was the line in the sand for the Socialist. But as time went on it became clear that it was not about providing healthcare for the American people, but for the illegal aliens that the Socialist desperately needed for securing power.
When President Trump began to fulfill his promise to the American people to remove the illegal aliens from our cities, they realized the threat they faced and mobilized their anti-American forces. From the “No Kings” platoons, to the Anti-ICE squads, disorder was spread across our cities. Just as with Barrak Hussein Obama’s use of ANTIFA and BLM, insurgent warfare filled the streets of America.
Then with the allegations of fraud, corruption, and abuse of offices in Minnesota, California, Illinois, and other states became known, their means and methods became clearer. Having portrayed themselves in word, as the only party that stood for the common man, their actions painted a different portrait. By marginalization and manipulation, they have tried to lead the simple-minded up their own devised moral high road to the hill they have chosen to die on.
“I will die on this hill” is based on a military strategy. It is when the decision of defending a strategically important high ground or intersecting roads is made, even if it leads to one’s own death. For the Socialist it has become a metaphor for defending their deeply held belief or principles that history has shown to be bad. Historians and Political Science experts argue against Socialism not with emotional symbolism or feel-good utopian dreams but with historical examples of poverty, repression, and lower standards of living. In every example we see the common aspects of stifled innovation, lack of individual freedom, economic inefficiency, and government overreach and corruption.
Oh, that your party would return to the wisdom and leadership of Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Tip O’Neill, and Robert Byrd. That you would remember the influence Martin Luther King Jr. and Billy Graham. The time has come for true Democrats like Sen. Robert Bryd, to pull a copy of the Constitution from their pocket and hold it high, declaring an end to ideological shenanigans and put our government back on its foundation. For all to place an open Bible on their desks and remember that it is God that established, sustains, and gives them the civil authority to govern this nation.
Oh, if we could return to the bipartisanship of the mid-20th century. A time when both parties worked together to guarantee for all citizens to realize by their hard work, each’s dreams and aspirations. To remove the barriers of overreaching regulations that hinder the entrepreneurship of the people. That no one should stand idle when there is work to be done. That the welfare dole does not become a career path or way of life, but the safety net it was designed to be.
That the laws be applied equally to all and that they must be an instrument of justice. That the sharp edge of the sword be used as an effective deterrent. That the citizens must be protected in the home, on the street, and in the schools. That the long arm of the law reaches past associations, connections, or affluence. That none will ever be a means for escaping the consequences for one’s crimes.
That no longer will the people, whether on Main St. or those on Wall St. be taxed for the insatiable spending of a Congress that lacks accountability and shuns the idea of stewardship. That the hands of government never touch the inheritance passed down to our children.
I will close with this encouragement. It may seem like a daunting task, but it follows the idiom of “How do you eat an elephant, one bit at a time.” With the primaries underway, Texas has already taken the first steps. The foul mouth Jasmine Crockkett and the disrespectful Al Green have been removed from the chance to continue to tarnish the House of Representatives and your party. I ask that you follow Texas’ lead and elect honorable people that will bring bipartisanship, common sense and decency back to your party. It is by this that we can continue to enjoy lives worth living, we can have a social environment that promotes the good of all, we can care for our physical environment with its vast resources that provide prosperity for all. It is achievable, it is worth it.
Take it back!
