Fauci’s Disgrace Has Been Revealed for All to See

COMMON SENSE: Anthony Fauci, M.D., swore an oath to tell the truth, but he didn’t do it, did he? No, he did not. Instead, he invoked the Fifth Amendment to protect himself against self-incrimination. He refused to answer every question, even though he received a Presidential Pardon from prosecution, issued by President Joe Biden.

The Republicans were relentless in their accusatory questioning, while the Democrats were equally vigorous in protecting Fauci. They did their best to provide cover for him. He refused to accept responsibility for having anything to do with the deaths of over 1 million Americans from Covid-19.

More than anything, the response of the Democrats is what surprised me. I was shocked, because Covid-19 didn’t just kill Conservatives and Republicans. It killed Liberals and Democrats as well. All of us, every American, knows someone who died or suffered greatly from Covid-19.

That being the case, shouldn’t we all want answers that only Fauci, who was in charge of what happened in Wuhan, China, to provide them? This seems logical, so why would the Democrats be invested in continuing to provide cover for Fauci? With Covid-19 being so destructive, why would the Senate Democrats be complicit in the worst, most extensive cover up in American history? Since it’s such a terrible look for them, it just doesn’t make sense, nor does Fauci’s response to the questions asked.

Fauci’s invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times. According to a Supreme Court ruling, doing so wasn’t legal. In Brown v. Walker (1896), the Supreme Court found that the government can force a witness to testify, if it has granted that witness statutory immunity from criminal prosecution. In that ruling, the Court held that having immunity removes the right to plead the Fifth Amendment, but Fauci did it anyway.

He did it, even though he had no legal right to do so. He did it, knowing that a criminal referral for obstruction from the Senate would be sent to the Department of Justice. I believe he also knew that the referral would cause a lot of blustering and name-calling, but no indictment or arrest would come from it. He would be humiliated—no doubt about it—but that would be better than having the truth of what he did be revealed. Plus, he would be able to keep the millions he received illicitly during the pandemic.

Do I believe Fauci, and those behind him are this devious, this deceitful and this cynical? Yes, I do. Does this mean Fauci will never be held accountable? Yes, it probably does, at least in the USA.

What can happen is we can make certain that his Secret Service protection is revoked, if it hasn’t already been. With at least thirty nations having active arrest warrants for him for murder, let him use some of his ill-gotten gains to pay for protecting himself from being arrested by those who are perfectly willing to make him pay for his egregious crimes.
