Hit Iran Again, This Time Even Harder

COMMON SENSE: With President Trump about to head for China, Iran has become increasingly brazen. There’s a reason why. The Twelver Shiites in charge, or what is left of them, know that the United States will not attack again, not until Trump returns from China. This provides them with a window of opportunity.
It means that, in their audacity, in their sneaky, manipulative way, they can use the prelude to Trump’s visit, as well as his time in China, to attack American and Gulf-state interests. You can count on it. Just watch and see. They will breach the ceasefire multiple times each day.
By the time Trump returns, however, they will become conciliatory again, ready to negotiate. They will extend an olive branch, but none of it will be real. None of it will be offered in good faith. That’s because they have no intention to deal in good faith.
That we have yet to realize this, or accept that it is true, is our weak spot. Trump loves to make deals, and he’s good at it. The only problem is, where Iran is concerned, they have no intention to make a deal. Besides, even if they do make one, signing it in Pakistan, it would be nothing more than a worthless piece of paper. They would have no intention to honor it. That’s because it’s not in the nature of Twelver Shiite Muslims to be honorable.
This leaves us with one option only. Punish them so hard militarily that what little armaments and manpower they have left will be destroyed. Specifically, we should invade Kharg Island and take it. This will cripple their economy beyond repair. We must also decimate every IRCG facility in the country, taking out bridges and factories that can still produce munitions.
This has to be done no matter what anyway, so why wait? Spinning our wheels doesn’t help us, but it does play into their hands. It’s time to hit Iran hard again. Do it, Mr. President. Give the order.
