Iran Is Close to Collapsing
COMMON SENSE: Over the weekend, I heard Senator Chris Coons (D-DL) say that, after ninety days of warfare, Iran is now stronger than it was at the beginning of the war. He is not the only person who parrots this position. It’s a Democrat talking point that is also maintained by Never Trumpers, but is it true? Is it accurate? Does it depict reality, or is it meant to deceive and demoralize the American people?
In my opinion, it’s deceptive nonsense. I’m convinced that anybody who regurgitates this foolishness is ignorant of the facts, a dupe, a pawn of those who have a nefarious agenda, or all three. Instead of accepting what these people have to say at face value, the question should be asked, “Please explain how this viewpoint can be true?”
The answer is, people like Coons can’t justify their position. Militarily, because of Operation Epic Fury. Iran is certainly not stronger. Their navy, which had thirty-five vessels, has been reduced to zero. Their air force no longer functions. The USA and the IDF control the skies. Iran’s nuclear enrichment program—the reason for the war—has been shut down, and the Iranian communications system has been reduced to little more than carrier pigeons.
If all of what I have just stated is accurate, and it is, how can Iran be viewed as being stronger? The answer is, it can’t, but there are other factors that are equally as important.
Operation Economic Fury has been equally as successful as the military campaign. For more than ninety days, Iran’s economy has been under relentless financial assault. Commerce and banking have been shut down. The result of the attack by the U.S. Treasury Department is Iran is now close to collapsing.
With the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the seizure of billions in Iranian assets, and the inability of the Shiite regime to generate income through the sale of oil, how can Iran be considered stronger than it was before the war? They have no income. They cannot sell their oil. They’re about to run out of storage space for what has already been pumped. Inflation is above 200%, and over a million Iranians have lost their jobs. What this means is, each day that the pressure is maintained, the weaker Iran becomes—not stronger, weaker.
Think about how a situation like this would affect your family. If your family was deprived of income for three months, with the cost of food and other goods tripling, would it be better off or worse off? Would it be stronger or weaker? I think the answer is obvious, except for fools like Sen. Coons, the Leftist media, and Never Trumpers. Not having enough sense to pour piss out of a boot, these malcontents will continue to spout a narrative that is based on wishful thinking, not the truth. It’s completely devoid of reality. That being the case, don’t pay any attention to them.
