Kamala’s Border Wall Flip-Flop Provides an Opportunity

COMMON SENSE: Kamala Harris has just changed her position on supporting the Border Wall. Flip-flopping, she now supports its construction, but how is her change of heart being received?

On the left, they must be snickering. Knowing that she really doesn’t mean what she says, they are giving each other hi-fives. They believe she has undercut one of Trump’s primary policy positions. At Harris-Walz Campaign Headquarters, they must be giddy.

Since her flip-flop on not taxing tips was so successful—another one of Trump’s positions—why not change on the Border Wall as well? Because character, integrity and being forthright are unimportant to Kamala, her campaign leaders will have her do anything and say anything to win.

If you have no soul, which none of them do, changing positions to manipulate voters is standard operating procedure.

For the MAGA crowd, that she has changed positions is infuriating, but it shouldn’t be. Instead, because this provides Trump with a unique opportunity to expose her for who she is, it should be welcomed. Trump and his surrogates should demand answers. They must ask Kamala:

• Since you have been opposed to the Border Wall for years, when did you change your position?
• Being specific, why did you change your position?
• What specific events led you to do a 180?
• Now that you’ve changed, are you willing to admit that you, as Border Czar, and the entire Biden Administration have been wrong for nearly four years?
• If the Border Wall is necessary now, how can you justify having stopped its construction for nearly four years?
• Since the money for the Border Wall is already available, $650 million, do you support resuming construction immediately?
• If not, why not?
• Does this mean you regret allowing more than 10 million illegals to enter our country?
• If so, what should we do with them?
• If you’ve been wrong for years about the Border Wall, which you are now admitting that you have been, will you tell President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas that they have also been wrong?

I’m sure there are other questions that could be asked, but this would be a good place to start. Kamala can’t answer any of them. Her flip-flop demonstrates in spades that she has no character. Exploit this to its fullest.
