My Personal New Year’s Thoughts

New Year’s Eve used to be my favorite holiday. Now, it’s my least. That’s because I stopped drinking nearly twenty-nine years ago. When you don’t drink, being around drunks loses its appeal very quickly. If I hadn’t stopped, I doubt I would be alive today, but I am alive and have used my sobriety to be productive.

About twelve years ago, I made the commitment to devote most of my time and creative energy to writing. My lifetime goal was to write twenty books. Having accomplished this far sooner than I imagined, I upped the total to thirty. My latest novel, Betrayal: Jade & Wanna’s Story, will be out later this month. Here is a list of what I’ve written so far.

They say that “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” but that’s not true. I’m only moderately dull.
