Perspective Reflections!

Perspective Reflections!

Today, I want to ask you to reflect positively on your life. I know there are probably some negatives sprinkled in there. I am an optimist so I hope your year was positive like mine.

No resolutions!

What will you do? What will you desire to do differently in 2020 than you did this past year?

Start reflecting positively that through Jesus Christ you can do anything.

He will strengthen you like an Eagle 🦅!

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

[31] But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

So the weak things you can roll on Christ because He said to, 1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

Abiding is the key because we know we can’t do anything without His strength. I can attest to this many times in my life. I have not surrendered to Him in areas of my life and it was like playing the children’s game Battleship and I would cry out, “you sank my battleship.” Remember these various things. God resists the proud, gives grace to the humble and without knowledge, people perish and without a vision people cast off restraint.

Don’t wait until January 1st and desire to be changed then. Desire to be changed now. Ask the light of the world to come into your life and His presence the power and baptism of the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in you so that He can “Help you”!

Today you can decide to yield the areas in our lives that are not bearing much fruit. We can check our hearts and spend time with Him the Lord to ask what am I praying amiss?

To encounter the presence of the Lord is an opportunity of anyone to come to the well and conversate with the one who makes intercession for us.

The Samaritan woman at the well didn’t know who she was talking to and she expressed she would worship God at a place but not at the level Jesus would explain,

John 4:21-24 NKJV

[21] Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. [22] You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. [23] But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. [24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

I can only imagine what this encounter was like for her when He told her who she was…

John 4:25-26 NKJV

[25] The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” [26] Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

She would become a true revelation with a powerful witness to be transformed in a twinkling of an eye right before their eyes! She was there to draw water and would leave everything behind to share what Jesus had done for her.

SHE LEFT HER SOURCE OF WATER FOR THE LIVING WATER SHE LEFT HER WATER POT BEHIND.

John 4:27-30 NKJV

[27] And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?” [28] The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, [29] “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” [30] Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

POTS IN SCRIPTURES HAVE SIGNIFICANT MEANING

Several times in scriptures, “Pots” are shown as vessels used for cleansing and washing for ceremonial cleanliness, or placing ourself on the potter’s wheel for transformation so it can be used as the Potter desires,

Jeremiah 18:4 NKJV

[4] And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. However, the women at the well she had a pot and this time pots were used to get physical water over and over again as physically we will always need physical water to quench our thirst.

SHE TOLD THE WHOLE TOWN COME AND SEE A MAN AND SHE WOULD LEAD MANY TO THE SAVIOR

John 4:28-30 NKJV

[28] The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, [29] “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” [30] Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

WILL YOU CONSIDER

Will you consider this very thing to yield and submit your life to the Lord every area because it’s not worth holding on to the pain, the area of your life you don’t want to let go of! It’s worth to be all in and so very important for all the people will see Jesus in you and come to the man they never met!

It’s all up to you,
