ROSENSTEIN Is Leaving, but Why Now?

by Jack Watts

COMMON SENSE: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has just announced he will be stepping down in a few weeks. Why would he do this? And why now?

In my opinion, he wants to get out before Bill Barr is confirmed by the Senate to be the new Attorney General. Unlike the meek, tepid, and incompetent Jeff Sessions, Barr, who has served as Attorney General previously, will not stand for the two-tiered system of justice being administered by the Department of Justice.

By leaving soon, Rosenstein’s unethical behavior will not be scrutinized. Like all of the others who should have been prosecuted but weren’t, he will avoid any consequences for what he has done.

I will be glad to see the last of Rosenstein but, just like letting Comey, McCabe, Strzuk, Page, and the other simply leave without any real consequences, I am furious that justice will not be served. My hope is that Barr will clean out the remaining Deep State operatives at Justice, but I’m not holding my breath.
