RUNNING THE RACE AT MY PACE – APRIL 3 DEVOTIONAL

by Stephanie Lacey

Before you take a step across the starting line pause before me and invite me to join you. There is time. Time to receive my presence for the road before you. When you go ahead of me it isn’t because I have left you. It is you that have failed to acknowledge that I would never leave nor forsake you. I am not absent but because you choose to believe you can run without me you fail to truly receive the fullness and greatness of my presence with you. You see with me all things are possible. With me I can give you heightened sight to see the path in front of you. With me I can give you the advantage of showing you the roadblocks in front of you and grant you strategy to overcome them. With me I can give you super strength when others faint without me. With me I can refresh you while you are in your most vulnerable position. I can give you endurance you couldn’t have without me. I am that I am your source on the racing path ahead of you. Take my hand and in partnership acknowledge who I am. I am God who created the heavens and the universe so also I have created this road by hand and understand exactly how it twists and turns. I know the rough grounds, the rocky grounds and the smooth places. I know the incline and I know the dips. Above all trust in me as you run the race in front of you understanding with me you have certain victory all the way over the finish line.
