Success in Iran Is Assured

COMMON SENSE: From the day the conflict in Iran began, Americans have been inundated with negativity from those who seem to hate President Trump more than they love the USA. From these people we’ve heard that Trump has no plan, no goals, and no way to end the mess he created. Plus the most ridiculous of all, Iran is winning the war.

None of what these misinformed people have posted is true, of course, but that has not stopped them. The naysayers have postulated nonsense that has sought to undermine the foreign policy of the United States.

Now, six weeks after hostilities began, like the standings of a professional sport’s league at the end of the season, most of the results are in—factual results, not the wishful thinking of Democrats and Never Trumpers.

This is what has been achieved so far, enumerated in chronological order:

  1. At the beginning of hostilities, Iran’s leaders, including Ayatollah Khamenei, were taken out in a precise airstrike, immediately followed by the bombing of Iran’s communication system.
  2. Next, the USA and the IDF systematically destroyed Iran’s air force and anti-aircraft system against attack from the air. The end result is the U.S. Air Force and the IDF have gained total control of Iran’s airspace, rendering Iran helpless.
  3. Attacking naval vessels, sinking over 150 ships, was next. Now, Iran no longer has a navy, not one above the water anyway.
  4. With no navy and no air force to impede shipping in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, or the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranians have been powerless to stop a complete U.S. Navy blockade. With 90% of Iran’s economy generated from oil exports—exports that have been stopped cold—an economic stranglehold over Iran has been implemented.
  5. The U.S. Treasury Department, in coordination with the military, has frozen Iranian assets worldwide, including their ability to use third-party banks in China to circumvent the economic freeze.
  6. Now, with no military, no money, and no way to obtain money, the USA is squeezing the life out of the Islamic Republic, and there is nothing the mullah’s can do to stop it.

Iran’s currency has lost 97% of its value and inflation has reached 180%. With no oil revenue coming in, that’s unsustainable. With the stranglehold on Iran being complete, or close to complete, the mullahs will be forced to capitulate. Either that or their nation will collapse, which would be a better result.

As you can see, not from speculation but from accomplished objectives, the fools on the Left have been wrong, and so have many Americans who should know better. There has been a plan all along and, thanks to the best military in the world, it has worked magnificently, especially considering that Iran is twice the size of Texas and has 93 million people.
