The Constitution and The Rule of Law
We are approaching the 2024 Presidential election. Although we have seen it over the years become progressively worse, the last four years has amplified Marxist ideological theological political positions, corrupt ethics and the destruction of righteous morality that drives the left. All of which inculcate the minds of the masses becoming the filters by which they view others, determine worldviews, and interpret the foundational documents of these United States of America. Further compounded by a displacement of YHVH and embracing humanism leaving our nation at significant risk.
The question remains unanswered, as to whether we as a people and nation will survive the constant and pervasive throng of undermining liberal ideological theological agenda pursuits. Our society has seen in open display a pandemic of repulsive hate, especially since October 7 th , 2023, even among our so-called institutions of higher learning. Antisemitism has not been this openly virulent since the days of Nazi Germany. The spewing of inflammatory accusations, assaults, and physical violence against those of Jewish lineage and faith are an abomination. In many respects it can be seen as psychological sociological warfare against our nation and driving polarization in our communities and nation. Unless we come to a “righteous” resolve, the venom will continue to corrupt and destroy the foundations of our personal lives, relationships, communities, and nation.
Our forefathers authored and codified “The Constitution of the United States of America.” This document embodies the core foundations of our nation, values, ethics, and echoes of moral values found in Judeo-Christian Faith. It sets and affirms within the workings of our lives an enablement for each who strives to do so to be enriched. The resiliency of this document has secured a cohesiveness of our national identity and existence that demonstrates the sovereignty of the hand of God in its writing. Within our “Constitution,” this “Covenant” of and with “We the People” we see our defined and initiated national identity, order, culture, societal order, value and practice of judicial justice, individual freedom, liberty and pursuit of happiness, representative government in the form of a Republic, the sovereignty of individual states, yet adjoined as a collective whole, a government “of the people, by the people, for the people.”
We continue to not only see a constant undermining of this foundational document, but a doubling down in relentless pursuit to upend it and seek its demise. Rather than approaching, discovering, interpreting, and subsequently applying the text of this foundational document in and with an originalist lens of straightforward contextual reading Democrat Socialists displace it in revisionist dismemberment. Further, divorcing society from its originalist lens, the practice of “Case Law” has progressively seized the frame from which all subsequent cases are determined. The last relevant “Case Law” decision now becomes the starting point of inquiry and outcome of all subsequent cases, rather than beginning with the foundational document itself, namely the Constitution of the United States. Enjoined with progressive liberal amoral positions, each subsequent case sets the course for even greater anti-constitutional Marxist ideological expansion. All while the Constitution is incrementally pushed into the background of obscurity.
The Constitution of the United States establishes the character and parameters of the “Rule of Law.” When the “Rule of Law” is set aside for the rule of the mob, the rule of the elite, the rule of revenge and the rule of destroy the opponent; justice no longer is sought only a win! The last eight years have been replete with all that is not justice, but instead political takedowns. When a nation is overtaken by the reign of injustice in the courts and on the streets, violence and lawlessness fill the vacuum. Our nation has come to know the reality of this. Mindless, senseless, violent, indiscriminate acts of rage and abhorring absence of humanity can be seen in our streets, subways, and places of what should otherwise be of solitude and pleasure. Violators of the “Rule of Law” are seen as victims of a said endemic racism or oppression of the disadvantaged.
Justice, as YHVH defines it, does not give partiality to the rich or to the poor, it is Tzedak Tzedak, “Justice justice, shall you pursue.” Deuteronomy 16:20
When destruction is your goal, you destroy the foundations. May YHVH show our country favor and that this “nation shall not perish from the earth.” Abraham Lincoln
