The Great Deception: How Christianity Replaced Truth With Tradition and Left the Remnant in Chains

They told me I was saved at seven.

I went to every church service. I said all the right things. I lifted my hands in worship, served in ministry, and even told others I was going to heaven. But I was still bound tormented in my mind, addicted, angry, suicidal, and carrying more demons than I could count.

I didn’t even know what free was. I had no idea what deliverance meant. I didn’t know what a demon was or that we were actually fighting them. When I said the salvation prayer at seven years old, it was only because everyone else was going up. I had no idea what salvation was or who Yeshua truly was.

And I know I’m not the only one.

What most people call “Christianity” today is a shell of the truth. It’s a cultural costume. A powerless version of faith built on traditions, translations, and doctrines of men not on the teachings of Yeshua or the full counsel of Scripture. Most of what’s being preached isn’t biblical Christianity at all. And that’s the problem.

WHAT BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY ISN’T

It’s not church attendance.
It’s not a salvation prayer.
It’s not repeating Romans 10:9 out of context and living however you want.
It’s not tithe, serve, attend, and die.
And it’s definitely not replacing the people of Israel and ignoring the Torah that Yeshua Himself fulfilled and clarified.

Biblical salvation is not a feeling.
It is not a one-time prayer.
And it is not just transformation. It is a complete lifestyle change.
Either you serve YHWH with intention, or by default you have chosen satan.
There is no middle ground.

What’s being taught today is a dangerous mixture one that feeds the ego, avoids repentance, and denies the power of God:

“Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
2 Timothy 3:5, NKJV

And it’s keeping people bound.

REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY: THE ROOT OF MIXTURE

Replacement Theology teaches that the “church” replaced Israel, and that the commandments and covenants YHWH gave were discarded after Yeshua died. That’s a lie.
And it’s not a minor one.

This lie disconnected believers from their identity, their authority, and their spiritual inheritance. It made them think they could receive the Messiah of Israel without understanding the God of Israel. It turned the narrow path into a wide, easy road paved with deception and most didn’t even realize it.

Yeshua never started a new religion.
He came to fulfill the Word, not replace it.

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.”
Matthew 5:17-18, NKJV

But man-made religion did the opposite. It destroyed, replaced, rebranded and left people stuck in spiritual chains, thinking they were free.

WHY SO MANY STAY BOUND

Here’s the truth: you can sit in church your whole life and still die in bondage.
You can call yourself a Christian and still be tormented by spirits of fear, addiction, lust, anger, rejection, and religion.

Why?

Because the real gospel includes deliverance.
The real walk requires repentance.
And the real path is narrow not wide.

“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:14, NKJV

They told us grace meant we didn’t have to do anything.
But they didn’t tell us that true grace empowers obedience.
The Greek word for grace, charis (χάρις, khar’-ece), means “divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in life.”
It’s not a license to sin, it’s power to overcome it.

 ALL THESE YEARS IN CHURCH…

All those years I was in church, I saw demonic manifestations and didn’t even know what I was looking at. People manifested in ways I didn’t understand at the time clearly tormented, but still calling themselves saved. And they weren’t the only ones.

We’ve got both fathers and mothers abusing their children and each other. And what’s worse, in many cases the spouse, the family, and even the church know what’s happening but stay silent. They justify it, minimize it, or spiritualize it with verses like, “Spare the rod, spoil the child,” while ignoring the fruit of abuse.

I still remember a girl from school. Her father was a preacher, and he was violently abusive. He would quote Scripture as a weapon, yet she was one of the sweetest girls I knew. It was obvious she wasn’t being disciplined, she was being tormented by a man in the flesh who was clearly demonized.

This silence in the face of sin is one of the ways deception has crept in. False doctrine, demonic influence, and the complete misunderstanding of righteous judgment have created a system where no one wants to speak up, and most aren’t qualified to because they themselves are still bound.

How can anyone remove the speck from someone else’s eye when they’ve still got a plank in their own (Matthew 7:5)? This isn’t about being judgmental, it’s about righteous judgment. But when deception rules, discernment is drowned out.

It has created a system that sets the entire world up for failure.

Now we’re watching three major outcomes:

  • Some have turned completely away into the New Age, witchcraft, or atheism.
  • Some are still stuck in false doctrine tolerating what they know is wrong just to belong.
  • But the remnant… the remnant is rising.

And they’re saying, “Enough is enough.”

 THE GOSPEL INCLUDES DELIVERANCE

Yeshua’s ministry didn’t begin with a sermon, it began with confrontation.

Deliverance is not a side ministry. It is the ministry. Yeshua came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and that includes setting the captives free. He wasn’t walking around giving people motivational messages. He was casting out demons, healing the sick, confronting sin, and calling people to repentance.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Luke 4:18-19, NKJV

This is the gospel. Healing, deliverance, repentance, and restoration.

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Mark 16:17-18, NKJV

The early church didn’t have conferences or stage lights; they had power. And that power came from walking in holiness, obedience, and the fullness of Yeshua’s teachings, not man’s traditions.

“And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all of Galilee, and casting out demons.”
Mark 1:39, NKJV

He didn’t just heal bodies, he cast out spirits.
He didn’t just forgive sins.  He broke spiritual bondage.

The Greek word for “saved” is sōzō (σῴζω, so’-zo)  it means:

  • To save
  • To heal
  • To deliver
  • To make whole

Biblical salvation is a lifestyle of surrender, holiness, and power.
Not a one-time confession. Not a surface-level change.

 A CALL TO THE REMNANT

There is a remnant rising  people who were left for dead by religion, rejected by church systems, and wounded by false doctrine. But YHWH is awakening them. He is exposing the lies. He is calling His people back to holiness, back to power, and back to truth.

This isn’t a revival of hype. It’s a return to righteousness.

“Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’”
2 Corinthians 6:17-18, NKJV

You were never meant to just survive church.
You were meant to destroy hell’s kingdom with the power of Yeshua.

But that power only comes through truth.

So here’s the truth:

  • If you’re still bound, you haven’t been fully delivered.
  • If you’re still tolerating the mixture, you haven’t stepped fully into the narrow path.
  • If you’re still wondering why the church looks nothing like the Bible, it’s because what most people call “church” was never the Ekklesia Yeshua called out.

It’s time to wake up.
It’s time to walk in truth.
And it’s time to stop calling deception grace.

The remnant is ready.
And the war is just beginning.
