The weight of your words – March 7th Devotional

by Stephanie Lacy

When I created the universe I created it by my word. I fashioned man with a mouth and a voice in likeness to mine. Oh beloved how great are the weight of your words. I plead with you this day to only speak blessing and not curse. You were made to be vessel that pours what is from my lips. And neither any word from my heart falls to the ground and dies. So I say to you this day keep my word in your heart and be not afraid to believe and speak it. It is ok to hope for my best. Let your mouth utter the promise, the blessing. Forgive that person. Let your mouth be not vulnerable to the world’s way of speaking but submit to mine. It is because there is so much I long to release concerning your life and over those that surround you. Allow me to dwell in the secret place of your heart and spring forth through the words of your mouth. Through this deep abiding in me you will see those circumstances shift and change spiraling upward a spring of my favor and blessing. Nothing can stop my word. My word never returns void my child. Remember I came to prosper you and not to harm you. But please take hold of my word in your heart so that it may do its perfect work I so desire to accomplish in and through your life. Through my word dry bones live. Through my word the dead are raised. Through my word provision comes. Through my word miracles manifest. Through my word all of your circumstances change. My word is a lamp unto thy feet. Come this day to the river of my word and drink from limitless depths of it and be made whole. Man cannot live on bread alone but every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
