TRUMP: A Man of Destiny

COMMON SENSE: Trump’s 2024 Presidential campaign reminds me of an old Rocky movie. In the movie, maybe it was the “Eye of the Tiger” one, Rocky starts out determined to win. Then, through various misfortunes, doubt enters his mind. Finally, Rocky renews his commitment to defeat Clubber Lang, and does.

In my opinion, the same emotional roller coaster has happened to Donald Trump this year. Initially, supremely confident, several events, including weathering the unfair and costly Lawfare court cases imposed upon him, a pair of failed assassination attempts, vilification by Never-Trumpers, and the relentless pounding of the Progressive media, have all thrown him off course. Combined, I suspect all of this undermined his resolve, at least for a while.

Then, after his forty days in the wilderness, new resolve entered Trump’s heart. You could see it. You could feel it when he spoke at his rally at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. It was palpable. His energy renewed, realizing that he is a man of destiny, he was back, stronger and more determine than ever.

But will this be enough to win? Is there enough time remaining for him to accomplish his purpose? Can he make America great again?

I believe he can. In fact, I’m certain of it. It’s because his goal is to win. Kamala’s goal is not to lose. There’s a big difference between the two—a huge difference. Trump is pushing forward, firing on all cylinders. Kamala, perhaps out of incompetence, is just trying to hold the line, fearful of losing. In the end, his strategy will prove to be successful; hers will not.
