Visions & Dreams

God wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He wants us to dream and be visionaries. Vision a vivid apparition. Luke 1:22 tells us, there is nothing better verified than that God has communicated with us in this way. Psalms 89:19, Proverbs 29:18, Samuel 3:1, and Acts 9:10 also indicate your vision may come in one waking moment. Every vision and dream in your heart comes from the Lord. He wants us to use our gifts and talents. It brings him glory when we give our testimony and share our gifts. I thank God daily for uncommon favor. Pray supernatural things for our children, pray for more increase, take it all in, write the vision and make it plain. Vision also means a prophetic word; speak and declare continually. God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. Thank God in advance before it happens. Praise him, never give up, and never cease to expect a prophetic word. When things start to happen for you, testify God’s faithfulness. God has called you to be a visionary, dream your dreams, and walk in your purpose.

God has made use of dreams in communicating his will to all people. Genesis 29:12,30,31, Judges:7, Proverbs 13:19 “It is pleasant to see dreams come true, but fools refuse to turn from evil to attain them.” Whether a dream comes true, good or bad, depends on the nature of the dream or the desire. It is pleasant to to achieve worthwhile goals, but not all goals are worth pursuing, when you set your heart on something you may lose your ability to assess it objectively, with your desire binding your judgement, and you may proceed with an unwise relationship, a wasteful purchase, or a poorly conceived plan. Faithfulness is a virtue, but stubbornness is not. Our children will dream dreams and old men will see visions. WHen you have a dream write it down and give it to God and allow him to fulfill that dream and always remember, Obedience is better than sacrifice.
