HERE IS MY SUGGESTION FOR OUR NATION’S HEALING

by Jack Watts

COMMON SENSE: The Inspector General’s report is about to become public, and by all accounts, Michael Horowitz will reveal numerous explosive conclusions, including the poor handling of Hillary’s email server case. Apparently, Horowitz intends to call out senior officials at the DOJ, FBI, and the Obama administrations by name, and numerous criminal referrals will be made. That’s the good news.

The bad news is this: Millions of Americans will be emotionally unprepared to believe or accept the truth of what the Inspector General has concluded. Having been fed one lie after the other by the Leftist media, the Progressives will not accept the reality that the Obama administration was as corrupt as it was. Nor will they be willing to accept that people like me have been right for years. Instead, the Progressives will double down on their own version of reality, and our nation’s division will actually become worse instead of getting better.

Because the Conservatives have prayed for this day to come, once the report becomes public, the DOJ will be under tremendous pressure to reopen the Clinton investigation at bare minimum. The crescendo of “Lock Her Up” will be deafening. Although this is what Hillary deserves, incarcerating her will further divide our nation. What we need is healing—not escalating division—and I have an idea about how we can achieve it.

It will require bold, decisive leadership by President Trump, but that will not be difficult for him. Being a problem solver, he does it all the time.

Here is what I propose: Offer a full and complete Presidential Pardon to everybody involved in this massive criminal conspiracy, including Hillary, Loretta Lynch, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, and perhaps even to President Barack Obama, if required. There would only be one string attached to this Presidential Pardon. It would require the recipient to make a full and complete confession about exactly what he or she did that was criminal—no half-measures will suffice.

The confession would have to be read live and posted on You Tube for the entire nation to see. Those who refuse to confess would be prosecuted—without exception and without mercy.

These former Obama officials know what they have done, and it would not take long for a couple of them to come forward. When this happens, and the American people learn the truth about what they did from the lips of those who are guilty, the Left’s revisionist historical narrative will fall apart. The mainstream media will have to report on things this newsworthy, and those who have been thoroughly deceived will be forced to reevaluate their positions.

The Conservatives, who are justifiably angry and vengeful, will get what they want the most—the truth. They will also get many more political victories this fall than they now anticipate. The Resistance, on the other hand, will be dealt a massive blow—one that will probably end their militancy. The nation, as a whole, will be much better off, because this would put an end to the criminalizing of political opposition. Best of all, by showing graciousness to his enemies, President Trump’s magnanimous gesture will endear him to every American, and it will cement his place in history as one of our greatest Presidents.

For all of the reasons listed above, I suggest that President Trump make this bold, decisive move and offer a Presidential Pardon to those Horowitz refers for criminal indictment, and others as well.
