Laugh with me today – March 17 Devotional

by Stephanie Lacey

Today I have released my joy upon you. You are not in defeat beloved. You are in the center of my heart. Laugh with me. I am not ringing my hands in concern for what I see happening on the earth. I am not in low spirits with a heavy heart as I foreknew all before the foundation of this world. I am Joy. My original design in Adam was to be in my joy and laughter. Laughter in joy is my portion for you over all circumstances. This too shall pass but why hang your head low in heaviness now when you know it shall pass? See beyond all the troubles with me and laugh with me today. Do you know what one of the greatest things to overcome in this life is for my children? It is having joy through any circumstance. My servant Paul understood this very well. He had joy in a rat-infested prison. Understand that no matter what it may look like that I have ample joy to disperse for this as well. Make me your focus and draw from my deep well of joy and laughter. Allow me to shift your atmosphere as you set your eyes like flint upon my joy filled face. Draw from me my child. It is ok to laugh through this. Be not ashamed nor have guilt receiving joy in the midst of sorrow. Don’t you know it is a miracle to have my joy through such times? Though the proud scoff at your laughter in the midst keep drawing from me. I allow them to see and become baffled, as I so desire for them to see the truth for themselves as well. Remember that I choose the foolish things to confound the wise. I am no respecter of persons. What I give to you I long to give to them. Let my joy come upon you this day, for breakthrough is at hand and it is my doing.
