The sweetest fruit of humility – March 15 Devotional
by Stephanie Lacey
Lay pride down at my feet this day. Speak the words, “Father I am merely dust before your glory.” Those who come to me in humility are then approached by my exaltation and can expect to taste and see that I am good. The sweetest and most fragrant fruit springs forth in such a glorious array coming straight from my table of perfection. I am that I am who pleasures in exalting those who humble themselves before me. I am no respecter of the proud but I so delight in lifting up the humble that my glory may be seen in and through them. Broken before me I mold more beautifully and I refine more intricately. Those who know not beckoning me for wisdom can always anticipate my filling thoughts and strategies. Anyone who comes to me in lack should know I am good for the overflow outpour. If what one needs is healing they can rest assure I have taken the lashings for what ails them and I pleasure in mending their broken bodies. There is nothing that I cannot supply. Humble yourself before me so that I may impart and transfer what is needed. Become a witness of my exaltation in your life. Humility is surrendering to me so that I may deposit all that is good and pleasing to me within you. Humility is not weakness but the position where my strength flows.
